Clinton County United Way
"Community Impact...The United Way”
"Day of Caring" is a volunteer driven event, which mobilizes volunteers to assist with community service projects for United Way supported agencies. Volunteers perform tasks which might include such projects as painting, making minor repairs to physical items, cleaning, landscaping and/or rebuilding playground areas or equipment for children.
The 2005 Day of Caring was held on May 11th. 50 volunteers provided hands on energy and assistance to 7 different agencies working on 18 various projects. Once again, community oriented businesses provided financial support and supplies to our volunteers and the agencies. If you are interested in volunteering your time and energy to this event in the future, contact the United Way office at (570) 748-7856 or unitedwa@kcnet.org
And a special thanks to those individuals who donated their time during our past events.
